Live from Amsterdam, sin city capital of the world, comes a new work from artist and director Tim Folland. Master of Puppets, a one man derelict-drama, crammed with eight acts worth of convenience store swag, half crafted puppets, shoddy claymation gladiators, and misplaced product placements. Amongst the most notable acts are:"Puppets Play in Hells Fire" starring the slap-happy, fire fanatical Grendel twins, "The Ultimate Playdo Steel Cage Match" a thumb bending, bone crushing, battle of wills in which the contestants utilize various forms of jello wrestling and mixed up martial arts, and "Bad Magic" an exquisite demonstration of bar room trickery and free drink guzzling. Don't miss this light hearted, action packed, interbreeding of early American TV commercials with lowbrow theatrical wizardry. From the dregs of existence, the sty of the solar system, comes Swill Hole a new work by artist and director Tim Folland which single handedly degenerates the last 100 years of hygiene. Swill Hole, featuring the Paintor, a scrappy and resourceful practitioner of the lost and wayward arts, was installed and filmed in the Hampden Incubator Project Space during the month of November 2007.The packrat set for Swill Hole is a combination of Parisian artist hovel, Frankenstein-like lavatory, nomad's shanty and shaman's cave. The Paintor, armed with a make shift wine box camel pack of his own design, completed two homemade, junk yard-dog experiments durning the filming: the recipe for a perfect cup of coffee and a magical wine making apparatus, both of which fueled a roller coaster of work throughout the month.

"Wall Drawing with a Crowbar" was the Paintor's first public art piece. Continuing in the long tradition of wall drawings; from the Lascuax caves to the tagged walls of the graffiti artists.The set for the video is a site of demolition and creation, with the optimism of big money lotto tickets strewn about, plaster dust, unfinished checker games and the remains of last nights party. The video examines the nature of art making and intertwines it with themes of risk, devotion, hardship, and creativity.
